Academic Integrity Policy
At HumanText AI, we believe in using AI as a helper, not a shortcut. Our tools are designed to assist your own writing — not to replace it or to misrepresent AI work as your own.
Our Stance
HumanText AI is an assistive writing tool. We want you to produce better, clearer, more natural writing — with your ideas, your research, and your voice at the center.
We do not encourage, enable, or endorse using our humanizer to pass off AI-generated academic work as your own original work.
What We Consider Acceptable
- Polishing your own drafts — refining your original writing so it reads clearly and naturally.
- Strengthening an AI-assisted outline — where you wrote the ideas and content, and AI helps with phrasing you then verify yourself.
- Learning — studying alternative phrasings to improve your own writing skills.
What We Discourage
- Submitting fully AI-generated work as your own in assignments, exams, or publications.
- Using our tool to evade plagiarism or AI-use detection in a way that violates your institution's policies.
- Misrepresenting AI output as independent human work.
A Note for Students
Always follow your school or university's academic integrity rules. Many institutions have specific policies about AI use.
If you're unsure whether using an AI humanizer is allowed, ask your instructor first. When in doubt, disclose any AI assistance you used — honesty is always the safest path.
Read our For Students guide and the Turnitin detection guide for responsible AI writing practices.
